AIS ร่วม กสทช. และ CIB ลงพื้นที่อรัญประเทศ สระแก้ว หลังพบการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตผิดปกติ ยึดอุปกรณ์ดัดแปลงและขยายผลคดี
AIS ร่วมกับ กสทช. และตำรวจสืบสวนกลาง (CIB) บุกจับมิจฉาชีพในพื้นที่อำเภออรัญประเทศ จังหวัดสระแก้ว ภายหลังตรวจพบการใช้งานบริการอินเทอร์เน็ตที่มีปริมาณสูงผิดปกติและต่อเนื่อง จนเข้าข่ายพฤติกรรมต้องสงสัย จึงประสานข้อมูลเพื่อตรวจสอบข้อเท็จจริง ก่อนเข้าตรวจค้นพื้นที่ต้องสงสัย โดยมีวิศวกรของ AIS ร่วมสนับสนุนการพิสูจน์ข้อเท็จจริงด้านเทคนิคในพื้นที่
จากการตรวจค้น เจ้าหน้าที่พบอุปกรณ์คอมพิวเตอร์ที่ถูกดัดแปลงเพื่อนำไปใช้ในทางมิชอบ จึงดำเนินการระงับการใช้งาน ตรวจยึดอุปกรณ์ไว้เป็นหลักฐาน และเร่งขยายผลดำเนินคดีตามกฎหมาย ทั้งนี้ เบื้องต้นยังพบการเชื่อมต่อที่เกี่ยวข้องกับผู้ให้บริการเครือข่ายมากกว่าหนึ่งราย ซึ่งอยู่ระหว่างการตรวจสอบและขยายผลต่อไป
ทั้งนี้ AIS สนับสนุนข้อมูลทางเทคนิคและให้ความร่วมมือกับ กสทช. และตำรวจสืบสวนกลาง (CIB) อย่างใกล้ชิด พร้อมแจ้งความดำเนินคดีกับผู้กระทำผิด เพื่อป้องกันการนำบริการอินเทอร์เน็ตและโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านโทรคมนาคมไปใช้ในทางที่ผิด ลดผลกระทบที่อาจเกิดขึ้นต่อประชาชน
AIS ยืนยันความร่วมมืออย่างใกล้ชิดกับ กสทช. และตำรวจสืบสวนกลาง (CIB) พร้อมยกระดับมาตรการเฝ้าระวังและตรวจสอบการใช้งานโครงข่าย เพื่อป้องกันการนำบริการโทรคมนาคมไปใช้ในทางที่ผิด และสนับสนุนการป้องกันอาชญากรรมออนไลน์ เพื่อลดผลกระทบที่อาจเกิดขึ้นต่อประชาชนต่อไป
AIS Teams Up with NBTC and CIB to Raid Fraud Center in Aranyaprathet After Detecting Abnormally High Internet Traffic
Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (AIS), in collaboration with the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) and the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), has executed a crackdown on telecom-related crime in Aranyaprathet District, Sa Kaeo Province.
The operation was initiated after AIS’s network monitoring systems flagged abnormally high and continuous internet traffic patterns along the border area. Suspecting potential misuse for fraudulent activities, AIS shared technical data with the NBTC and CIB, prompting a joint raid where AIS engineers provided on-site technical support to verify the illicit network usage.
During the search, authorities uncovered modified computer equipment configured for unauthorized network activities. AIS immediately suspended all internet services associated with the location, while law enforcement seized the equipment as evidence for prosecution. Initial technical findings also indicated connectivity traces involving more than one network service provider, which remains under further investigation by authorities.
AIS reinforced its commitment to maintaining strict network monitoring protocols and working alongside government agencies to prevent telecommunications infrastructure from being exploited for cybercrime, safeguarding the public from online fraudulent activities.
