AIS ร่วม ปภ. และ กสทช. ยกระดับสถานีฐานพื้นที่เสี่ยงน้ำท่วมหาดใหญ่ เสริมดาวเทียมจาก Thaicom ไฟสำรอง และ AI เฝ้าโครงข่ายตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง
AIS ร่วมกับ กรมป้องกันและบรรเทาสาธารณภัย (ปภ.) และสำนักงาน กสทช. ลงพื้นที่อำเภอหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา เพื่อสำรวจความพร้อมของโครงสร้างพื้นฐานโทรคมนาคมและร่วมวางแผนยกระดับโครงข่ายสื่อสารให้พร้อมรองรับสถานการณ์ฉุกเฉินและภัยพิบัติ การลงพื้นที่ครั้งนี้ ครอบคลุมการตรวจสอบสถานีฐานและโครงข่ายในพื้นที่เสี่ยง รวมถึงการปรับปรุงสถานีฐานในพื้นที่เสี่ยงอุทกภัยให้มีระดับความสูงเพิ่มขึ้น เพื่อลดผลกระทบจากน้ำท่วมและรักษาความต่อเนื่องของการให้บริการ พร้อมร่วมสังเกตการณ์การฝึกบริหารวิกฤตการณ์ระดับชาติด้านสาธารณภัย เพื่อทดสอบการประสานงานระหว่างหน่วยงาน และยกระดับความพร้อมในการช่วยเหลือประชาชนเมื่อเกิดเหตุฉุกเฉิน
โดย AIS เตรียมความพร้อมของโครงข่ายแบบครบวงจร ทั้งสถานีฐานเคลื่อนที่ ระบบสื่อสารสำรองผ่านดาวเทียมจากความร่วมมือกับไทยคม และระบบไฟฟ้าสำรองประจำสถานีฐาน เพื่อรักษาความต่อเนื่องของบริการในกรณีที่โครงข่ายภาคพื้นดินหรือระบบไฟฟ้าได้รับผลกระทบ พร้อมนำ AI มาใช้เฝ้าระวังและวิเคราะห์ความผิดปกติของโครงข่าย ผ่าน Network Monitoring และ Command Center ตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง เชื่อมโยงกับระบบ Early Warning ในพื้นที่ เพื่อให้สามารถประเมินสถานการณ์และตอบสนองได้อย่างรวดเร็ว

AIS Partners with DDPM and NBTC to Fortify Hat Yai Telecommunications Infrastructure with AI and Satellite Backup Systems for Disaster Readiness
Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (AIS) has joined forces with the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) and the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, to inspect telecommunications infrastructure and implement proactive disaster preparedness protocols.
The field operation focused on evaluating base stations in flood-prone areas, elevated above potential flood levels to prevent damage and ensure uninterrupted mobile service. Furthermore, AIS participated in observing national disaster crisis management drills to test inter-agency coordination and streamline response capabilities during emergency scenarios.
To safeguard communication continuity, AIS deployed comprehensive redundancy measures, including mobile base station vehicles, backup power units, and satellite communication links established in partnership with Thaicom. These backup systems ensure network resilience should terrestrial infrastructure or primary power grids fail. Additionally, AI technology is utilized via 24/7 Network Monitoring and Command Centers to analyze network performance in real time and integrate with local Early Warning systems for immediate crisis response.
This collaboration underscores AIS’s commitment to fortifying the country’s critical communications infrastructure, ensuring that residents and rescue agencies maintain vital connectivity for life-saving operations during severe weather events.
