Riyadh Air เปิดจำหน่ายบัตรโดยสารเส้นทางบินตรงระหว่างกรุง Riyadh และกรุงเทพฯ อย่างเป็นทางการ เตรียมเริ่มให้บริการวันที่ 2 กันยายน 2569 จำนวน 3 เที่ยวบินต่อสัปดาห์ โดย Bangkok เป็นจุดหมายปลายทางลำดับที่ 14 ที่สายการบินเปิดให้สำรองที่นั่ง
เส้นทางใหม่จะเชื่อมท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติ King Khalid หรือ RUH กับท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ หรือ BKK ด้วยเครื่องบิน Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner โดยเที่ยวบินจาก Riyadh ออกเดินทางเวลา 22.15 น. และถึงกรุงเทพฯ เวลา 09.35 น. ของวันถัดไป ส่วนเที่ยวบินขากลับออกจากกรุงเทพฯ เวลา 16.55 น. และถึง Riyadh เวลา 20.15 น. ตามเวลาท้องถิ่น
การเพิ่ม Bangkok เข้าสู่เครือข่ายเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของแผนขยายเส้นทางในเอเชียของ Riyadh Air และช่วยเพิ่มการเชื่อมต่อระหว่างซาอุดีอาระเบียกับไทย ทั้งด้านธุรกิจ การท่องเที่ยว และการเดินทางเพื่อสุขภาพ
ข้อมูลที่สายการบินอ้างจาก Saudi-Thai Investment Forum 2024 ระบุว่า มูลค่าการค้าระหว่างสองประเทศเพิ่มจาก 7.5 พันล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐในปี 2565 เป็นประมาณ 9 พันล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐในปี 2566 ขณะที่มีนักท่องเที่ยวชาวซาอุดีอาระเบียเดินทางมายังกรุงเทพฯ ราว 200,000 คน และนักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทยเดินทางสู่ Riyadh มากกว่า 30,000 คนในช่วงเวลาเดียวกัน
Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner ของ Riyadh Air แบ่งห้องโดยสารเป็น Business Elite, Business, Premium Economy และ Economy พร้อมระบบความบันเทิง Astrova จาก Panasonic Avionics รองรับการเชื่อมต่อกับอุปกรณ์พกพาและหูฟังไร้สาย รวมถึงบริการอาหาร เครื่องดื่ม และสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกสำหรับการเดินทางระยะไกล
สายการบินยังเปิดให้สมัครโปรแกรมสมาชิก Sfeer ซึ่งมาพร้อม Best Offer Guarantee คะแนนสะสมไม่มีวันหมดอายุ และ Wi-Fi บนเครื่องโดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่าย ขณะที่สมาชิกกลุ่มแรกจะได้รับสถานะ The Founders Club พร้อมสิทธิ์เข้าถึงเส้นทางบินใหม่ก่อนใครตามเงื่อนไขของโปรแกรม
ผู้โดยสารสามารถสำรองบัตรโดยสารเส้นทาง Riyadh–Bangkok ได้แล้วผ่านแอป Riyadh Air เว็บไซต์ของสายการบิน ตัวแทนจำหน่ายบัตรโดยสาร และแพลตฟอร์มการท่องเที่ยวที่ร่วมรายการ ก่อนเริ่มให้บริการเที่ยวบินแรกในวันที่ 2 กันยายน 2569
Riyadh Air Opens Sales for Nonstop Riyadh–Bangkok Flights Starting September 2
Riyadh Air has officially opened ticket sales for its new nonstop service between Riyadh and Bangkok, with flights scheduled to begin on September 2, 2026. The route will operate three times per week, making Bangkok the 14th destination available for booking across the airline’s growing network.
The service will connect King Khalid International Airport, or RUH, with Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, or BKK, using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. Flights will depart Riyadh at 10:15 p.m. and arrive in Bangkok at 9:35 a.m. the following day. Return services will leave Bangkok at 4:55 p.m. and arrive in Riyadh at 8:15 p.m., all local times.
Adding Bangkok forms part of Riyadh Air’s broader expansion across Asia and strengthens direct connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Thailand for business, leisure and health-related travel.
Citing data from the Saudi-Thai Investment Forum 2024, the airline said bilateral trade increased from $7.5 billion in 2022 to approximately $9 billion in 2023. Around 200,000 Saudi travellers visited Bangkok, while more than 30,000 Thai travellers travelled to Riyadh during the same period.
Riyadh Air’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will offer Business Elite, Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins. The aircraft will feature Panasonic Avionics’ Astrova in-flight entertainment system, connectivity with personal devices and wireless headphones, along with food, beverage and amenity services designed for long-haul travel.
The airline is also promoting its Sfeer loyalty programme, which includes a Best Offer Guarantee, points that do not expire and complimentary onboard Wi-Fi. Early members will receive The Founders Club status, with access to selected privileges including early booking opportunities on new routes.
Tickets for the Riyadh–Bangkok service are now available through the Riyadh Air app, the airline’s website, authorised travel agents and participating travel platforms ahead of the inaugural flight on September 2, 2026.
