NT Advances NSW e-D/O at Bangkok Port as Five Major Shipping Lines Prepare for Paperless Cargo Release

National Telecom (NT) is moving forward with the NSW e-D/O electronic delivery order system following its service launch on July 15, 2026, with Bangkok Port serving as the first pilot location. Five major shipping lines — CMA CGM, SITC, ESL, HEUNG-A LINE and SINOKOR — are already prepared to use the system.

NSW e-D/O is designed to digitalise the delivery order process through the central NSW platform, reducing reliance on paper documents and allowing businesses across the logistics chain to manage cargo release procedures digitally.

To prepare users for the new workflow, NT and the Thai Shipping Association organised three hands-on training sessions on August 4, 5 and 10, 2026. Participants included shipping lines, Freight Forwarders, Consignees and Customs Brokers.

The workshops covered the full process through simulated system use, from submitting a Request e-D/O and assigning access rights to a D/O, to issuing the electronic document and collecting cargo at the terminal.

The training is intended to familiarise operators with the new process while strengthening confidence in data accuracy and security before wider adoption of NSW e-D/O.

NT and the association expect electronic delivery orders to help shorten cargo movement time from ports, reduce logistics administration costs and cut paper consumption, while establishing a more digital standard for Thailand’s logistics sector.

CMA CGM, SITC, ESL, HEUNG-A LINE and SINOKOR are among the first shipping lines ready to use NSW e-D/O, with the Thai Shipping Association supporting adoption among businesses involved in the cargo release process.
