AIS ร่วมกับ กสทช. ลงพื้นที่ตรวจสอบมาตรฐานการลงทะเบียนซิมการ์ด พร้อมชูเทคโนโลยี Liveness Detection เสริมความปลอดภัยในการยืนยันตัวตน ป้องกันการแอบอ้าง
AIS สนับสนุนสำนักงานคณะกรรมการกิจการกระจายเสียง กิจการโทรทัศน์ และกิจการโทรคมนาคมแห่งชาติ (กสทช.) ในการลงพื้นที่จังหวัดสมุทรสาคร สมุทรสงคราม และเพชรบุรี เพื่อตรวจติดตามมาตรฐานการลงทะเบียนผู้ใช้บริการโทรศัพท์เคลื่อนที่ ณ จุดให้บริการของผู้ให้บริการโทรคมนาคม พร้อมยืนยันความร่วมมือในการดำเนินงานตามมาตรการและหลักเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดอย่างเคร่งครัด เพื่อสร้างความมั่นใจว่าการลงทะเบียนและยืนยันตัวตนของผู้ใช้บริการเป็นไปอย่างถูกต้อง ปลอดภัย และได้มาตรฐานในทุกจุดให้บริการ
ที่ผ่านมา AIS ให้ความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งในการยกระดับความปลอดภัยในการใช้บริการโทรคมนาคมและการป้องกันภัยคุกคามทางไซเบอร์อย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยพร้อมสนับสนุนมาตรการของหน่วยงานภาครัฐ และทำงานร่วมกับทุกภาคส่วน เพื่อร่วมกันลดความเสี่ยงจากการนำเลขหมายโทรศัพท์ไปใช้ในทางที่ไม่เหมาะสม ตลอดจนเสริมความปลอดภัยให้แก่ลูกค้าและประชาชน ตั้งแต่กระบวนการลงทะเบียนและยืนยันตัวตนของผู้ใช้บริการ พร้อมทั้งยังนำเทคโนโลยี Liveness Detection ซึ่งเป็นระบบพิสูจน์อัตลักษณ์ขั้นสูง (Biometric) มาใช้เสริมความปลอดภัยในกระบวนการยืนยันตัวตน เพื่อช่วยตรวจสอบว่าผู้ดำเนินการเป็นบุคคลจริง และลดความเสี่ยงจากการแอบอ้างหรือสวมรอยตัวตน สอดคล้องกับแนวทางการกำกับดูแลของ กสทช. ที่มีการตรวจติดตามมาตรฐานการดำเนินงานของผู้ให้บริการโทรคมนาคมอย่างต่อเนื่อง
AIS ยืนยันความพร้อมในการให้ความร่วมมือกับ กสทช. และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องอย่างเต็มที่ เพื่อร่วมยกระดับมาตรฐานการลงทะเบียนซิมการ์ดให้มีความรัดกุมและปลอดภัย พร้อมสร้างความเชื่อมั่นในการใช้บริการและร่วมเสริมเกราะป้องกันภัยดิจิทัลให้กับลูกค้าและประชาชนอย่างยั่งยืน
AIS Uses Liveness Detection to Strengthen SIM Registration Security
AIS has supported Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission, or NBTC, in inspecting mobile subscriber registration standards across Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkhram and Phetchaburi.
The inspections are intended to ensure that SIM registration and identity verification procedures comply with regulatory requirements and are applied consistently across customer service locations.
AIS confirmed its cooperation with the NBTC and its commitment to following all applicable requirements throughout the registration, customer data verification and identity confirmation processes.
The operator uses Liveness Detection as part of its biometric identity verification system. The technology helps determine whether the individual completing the verification process is physically present and is a real person.
This additional verification layer is designed to reduce the risk of identity impersonation, fraudulent registration and the use of another person’s information to activate a mobile number.
AIS said it will continue working with the NBTC and relevant authorities to improve SIM registration standards, reduce the misuse of mobile numbers and strengthen digital protection for customers and the public.
