Xiaomi Launches SkyNomad Series from 259,900 Yuan, with Up to 1,705 km of Combined Range
Xiaomi EV has introduced the Xiaomi SkyNomad Series, its first extended-range SUV line built on the new Xiaomi Kunlun platform. The range includes the seven-seat SkyNomad N90 Max, priced at 299,900 yuan, and the five-seat all-wheel-drive SkyNomad N70 Max, priced at 259,900 yuan.
The N90 Max offers a maximum combined range of 1,705 kilometres, while the N70 Max can travel up to 505 kilometres on electric power under the CLTC standard.
The Xiaomi Kunlun platform was developed around cabin space, integrating front-compartment systems, repositioning suspension components and reducing battery-floor thickness. The result is a nearly three-metre flat floor extending from the front seats to the luggage compartment, with an incline of just 2.95 degrees.
Measuring 5,285 mm in length with a 3,080 mm wheelbase, the SkyNomad N90 Max can carry seven passengers along with seven 20-inch suitcases. Maximum cargo capacity reaches 1,831 litres, enough for up to 24 suitcases of the same size.
Its adjustable seat and rail system supports 7+N interior configurations, including face-to-face seating, a children’s play area, First-Class mode, a sleeping space and a private workspace. Xiaomi Hyper XiaoAi can switch between 11 cabin modes through a single voice command while coordinating the seats, lighting and climate controls.
The infotainment system runs on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and supports Dual 5G, Wi-Fi 7, six connected displays and a 25-speaker audio system. Driver-assistance hardware delivers 700 TOPS of computing performance and works with LiDAR, 4D millimetre-wave radar and cameras. N90 models add rear LiDAR to improve obstacle detection during parking.
The Xiaomi Kunlun Total Safety system uses an Armor Cage body structure comprising 90.4% high-strength steel and aluminium alloy, with 2,200 MPa steel used at 16 key points. The N90 Max comes with 12 airbags, while the Xiaomi Armor Scale Battery incorporates 18 layers of structural protection and 16 layers of thermal protection.
The N90 Max uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing up to 310 kW. It also features five-level adjustable air suspension, can brake from 100–0 km/h in 38.57 metres and has a turning radius of 5.95 metres despite measuring nearly 5.3 metres long.
Pre-orders for the Xiaomi SkyNomad Series opened on July 30 at 9:00 p.m. with a 1,000-yuan deposit. Confirmed buyers will receive priority production scheduling and a dual cup-holder table valued at 999 yuan upon delivery.
