เมืองพัทยาบูรณาการความร่วมมือระหว่างเมืองพัทยา วัฒนธรรมจังหวัดชลบุรี, อพท.พัทยา, การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย, สำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ ร่วมกันจัดงานเทศกาลภาพยนตร์ให้มีความยิ่งใหญ่ รวมถึง บริษัท โมโน โปรดักชัน จำกัด พันธมิตรภาคเอกชนที่มีความแข็งแกร่งด้านการผลิต และเผยแพร่คอนเทนต์คุณภาพ เดินหน้าประกาศวิสัยทัศน์ครั้งสำคัญในการผลักดันประเทศไทยสู่ศูนย์กลางอุตสาหกรรมภาพยนตร์ และเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ของภูมิภาค ผ่านการจัดงาน Pattaya International Film Festival 2026 เทศกาลภาพยนตร์ เมืองพัทยา ครั้งที่ 4 ระหว่างวันที่ 22–30 สิงหาคม 2569 ภายใต้แนวคิด “THE CINEMATIC WAVE” หรือ “คลื่นแห่งภาพยนตร์” ที่พร้อมส่งต่อพลังแห่งความคิดสร้างสรรค์ เชื่อมโยงศิลปวัฒนธรรม การท่องเที่ยว การลงทุน และเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ เพื่อยกระดับเมืองพัทยาสู่การเป็นจุดหมายของเทศกาลภาพยนตร์ระดับนานาชาติ และขับเคลื่อนสู่การเป็น เมืองสร้างสรรค์ด้านภาพยนตร์ของยูเนสโก (UNESCO Creative City of Film) โดยมี คุณดำรงค์เกียรติ พินิจการ, คุณพรชัย ว่องศรีอุดมพร, คุณนนทรีย์ นิมิบุตร, คุณพงษ์พัฒน์ วชิรบรรจง, ดร.สรรัตน์ จิรบวรวิสุทธิ์ และ เคน ภูภูมิ พงศ์ภาณุภาค ร่วมประกาศความพร้อม
Pattaya International Film Festival 2026 Set for August 22–30 as City Advances UNESCO Creative City of Film Ambition
Pattaya is preparing to host the fourth Pattaya International Film Festival from August 22–30, 2026, under the theme “THE CINEMATIC WAVE.” The festival is designed to connect film with culture, tourism, investment and the creative economy, while supporting Pattaya’s ambition to become a UNESCO Creative City of Film.
The event brings together Pattaya City, the Chonburi Provincial Culture Office, DASTA Pattaya, the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, with Mono Production joining as a private-sector partner in content production and distribution.
The festival is positioned as more than a film event. Its broader goal is to use content and the creative industries to generate economic value for Pattaya by linking cinema with tourism, investment and the city’s international profile.
Pattaya International Film Festival 2026 is also intended to support Thailand’s ambition to strengthen its position as a regional hub for the film industry and creative economy, while creating connections between the public sector, content businesses and film professionals.
The event’s readiness announcement featured representatives from Thailand’s film and entertainment industries, including Damrongkiat Pinijkarn, Pornchai Wongsriudomporn, Nonzee Nimibutr, Pongpat Wachirabunjong, Dr. Sarunrat Jirabowornwisut and Ken Phupoom Pongpanu.
Pattaya International Film Festival 2026 will take place from August 22–30, marking the festival’s fourth edition as the city continues using film as part of its long-term transition from a tourism destination toward a broader creative economy hub.
