Samsung Sets August 27 Galaxy Event to Unveil a New Galaxy S26 Family Member
Samsung will hold its “Galaxy Event August 2026” on August 27, 2026, where it plans to introduce the latest member of the Galaxy S26 family. The upcoming device will bring key experiences from the Galaxy S26 Series, including camera capabilities, Galaxy AI and the latest version of One UI.
The launch follows the introduction of the Galaxy S26 Series earlier in 2026. Samsung says the new member has been designed for consumers looking for a combination of practical features and value, while retaining key Galaxy S26 experiences across photography, content creation and AI.
Samsung has not yet revealed the product name or additional specifications, with full details scheduled to be announced during Galaxy Event August 2026.
The event will be livestreamed worldwide on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. KST, or 7:00 p.m. in Thailand, via Samsung.com and Samsung’s official YouTube channel.
