AMD Details Light Sail VR Case Study Using Ryzen AI Max for Local AI Production Coordination
AMD has published a new customer case study with Light Sail VR, an Emmy Award-winning studio that integrated a local AI production coordinator to manage project timelines, schedules, and client feedback via Slack. By offloading administrative tasks to an AI agent, the studio enables its creative team to dedicate more time to storytelling while ensuring that confidential production data remains securely on-premises.
To build this local AI coordinator, Light Sail VR adopted Ryzen AI Max processors, addressing two primary challenges associated with cloud-based models: repetitive inference costs and the necessity of keeping client data in-house. Matthew Celia, Founder and CEO of Light Sail VR, stated that he can now oversee six to nine projects with the same physical effort previously required for one to two projects. This transition significantly improves team efficiency and allows members to focus primarily on creative and strategic initiatives.
AMD continues to advance computing solutions that make Agentic AI workflows viable. The company leads the Agentic PC category with its second-generation Ryzen AI Max PRO 400 Series processors, designed to support large models and high-performance local workflows. To date, AMD has shipped over half a million Agentic PCs across more than 50 different designs from new OEM partners, expanding options for developers, creators, and enterprise customers.
