AIS คว้ารางวัล “Autonomous Network Operator Leadership Award” จากเวที FutureNet Asia Awards 2026 ตอกย้ำความก้าวหน้าในการพัฒนาโครงข่ายอัจฉริยะ โดยเป็นการคว้ารางวัลต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 4 จากการนำ AI และ Automation มาใช้ยกระดับการบริหารจัดการเครือข่ายอย่างเป็นระบบ พร้อมเดินหน้าสู่ Autonomous Network ระดับ 4/5 เพื่อวางรากฐาน โครงสร้างพื้นฐานดิจิทัลอัจฉริยะระดับชาติ (National Intelligent Infrastructure) รองรับการเติบโตของเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัลและ AI ของประเทศไทย
หนึ่งในพัฒนาการสำคัญ คือการยกระดับโครงข่ายสู่มาตรฐานใหม่อย่าง 5G-ADVANCED ครั้งแรกในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ด้วยการนำ AI ผสานเทคโนโลยีรวมคลื่น 3CC และ 2CC เพื่อเพิ่มขีดความสามารถของเครือข่าย รองรับทั้งความเร็ว ความหนาแน่นของการใช้งาน และรูปแบบบริการดิจิทัลแห่งอนาคต โดยปัจจุบันโครงข่าย 5G Uplink 2CC (ผ่านคลื่น 2600 MHz และ 700 MHz) ครอบคลุมกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล 100% ทำให้กรุงเทพฯ เป็นมหานครแห่งแรกของโลกที่มีการครอบคลุมเทคโนโลยีดังกล่าวทั่วพื้นที่ รวมถึงพื้นที่อำเภอเมืองครบทั้ง 77 จังหวัด ซึ่งเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญในการวางรากฐานโครงข่ายให้มีทั้งศักยภาพ ความชาญฉลาด และความพร้อมสำหรับการพัฒนาไปสู่ Autonomous Network ในระดับที่สูงขึ้น
นายวสิษฐ์ วัฒนศัพท์ หัวหน้าหน่วยธุรกิจงานปฏิบัติการและสนับสนุนด้านเทคนิคทั่วประเทศ เอไอเอส กล่าวว่า “หัวใจของการพัฒนาโครงข่ายในวันนี้ คือการก้าวข้ามบทบาทจากระบบที่ทำหน้าที่เพียงเชื่อมต่อไปสู่โครงสร้างพื้นฐานดิจิทัลอัจฉริยะ ที่พร้อมรองรับเศรษฐกิจและสังคมในยุค AI ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ AIS จึงนำ AI และ Automation เข้ามาเสริมศักยภาพการบริหารโครงข่ายในหลายมิติ ตั้งแต่การวิเคราะห์ปัญหาการใช้งานของลูกค้า เพื่อค้นหาสาเหตุและจัดการได้รวดเร็วยิ่งขึ้น การตรวจจับและแก้ไขความผิดปกติของเครือข่ายโดยอัตโนมัติ ไปจนถึงความสามารถในการวิเคราะห์และปรับการทำงานของโครงข่ายให้เหมาะสมกับสถานการณ์และรูปแบบการใช้งานได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง
รางวัลครั้งนี้สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงทิศทางที่ AIS เดินหน้ามาอย่างต่อเนื่องในการพัฒนาโครงข่ายสู่ Autonomous Network ที่มีความชาญฉลาดและอัตโนมัติมากขึ้น เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพ ความต่อเนื่องในการให้บริการ และยกระดับประสบการณ์ของลูกค้า พร้อมรองรับการเติบโตของบริการดิจิทัลและเทคโนโลยี AI ในอนาคต”
สำหรับ FutureNet Asia Awards 2026 จัดขึ้นโดย FutureNet World องค์กรผู้จัดงานด้านเทคโนโลยีเครือข่ายและระบบอัตโนมัติระดับนานาชาติ โดยรางวัล “Autonomous Network Operator Leadership Award” มอบให้แก่องค์กรที่มีวิสัยทัศน์ ความเป็นผู้นำ และความก้าวหน้าในการพัฒนาโครงข่ายสู่ Autonomous Network ระดับ 4/5 รวมถึงสามารถนำ AI และ Automation มาประยุกต์ใช้งานจริงในระดับองค์กร การได้รับรางวัลครั้งนี้จึงสะท้อนถึงความก้าวหน้าของ AIS ในการยกระดับโครงข่ายจากระบบการสื่อสาร สู่โครงสร้างพื้นฐานดิจิทัลอัจฉริยะที่สามารถบริหารจัดการได้อย่างเป็นระบบและอัตโนมัติมากขึ้น โดยเป็นผลจากการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีร่วมกับ Huawei เพื่อเพิ่มขีดความสามารถของโครงข่ายให้พร้อมรองรับความต้องการของลูกค้า เศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล และการเติบโตของ AI ในอนาคต
AIS Harnesses AI to Advance Intelligent Networks on the Global Stage Wins Autonomous Network Operator Leadership Award at FutureNet Asia Awards 2026 for the Fourth Consecutive Year
AIS has won the “Autonomous Network Operator Leadership Award” at FutureNet Asia Awards 2026, marking its fourth consecutive year of recognition for advancing intelligent networks through the systematic integration of AI and automation into network management. The achievement reinforces the company’s progress towards Autonomous Network Levels 4 and 5, laying the foundation for National Intelligent Infrastructure to support the growth of Thailand’s digital economy and AI ecosystem.
A key milestone in this journey is the launch of 5G-ADVANCED, the first in Southeast Asia, combining AI with 3CC and 2CC carrier aggregation technologies to enhance network capabilities. These advances deliver higher speeds, support greater usage density and enable next-generation digital services. AIS’s 5G Uplink 2CC network, operating on the 2600 MHz and 700 MHz bands, now provides 100% coverage across Bangkok and its metropolitan area, making Bangkok the world’s first metropolis with citywide coverage of this technology. Coverage also extends to the capital districts of all 77 provinces. This development strengthens the network’s capacity, intelligence and readiness to advance towards higher levels of autonomous operation.
Mr. Wasit Wattanasap, Head of Nationwide Operations and Support Business Unit at AIS, said: “Network development today is about evolving beyond connectivity to become intelligent digital infrastructure that can effectively support the economy and society in the AI era. AIS is integrating AI and automation across multiple dimensions of network management, from analysing customer service issues to identify root causes and resolve them more quickly, to automatically detecting and correcting network anomalies. These capabilities also enable the network to continuously analyse and adjust its operations in response to changing conditions and usage patterns.

FutureNet Asia Awards 2026 is organised by FutureNet World, an international organiser of events focused on network technology and automation. The “Autonomous Network Operator Leadership Award” recognises organisations demonstrating vision, leadership and progress towards Autonomous Network Levels 4 and 5, alongside the practical implementation of AI and automation at an enterprise scale.
