Samsung Launches Galaxy Z8 Series in Thailand After Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra Pre-Orders Jump Nearly 60% Across the Region

Samsung has officially started selling the Galaxy Z8 Series in Thailand, including the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8. The devices are now available for immediate pickup through Samsung Experience Shop locations, participating retailers, Samsung.com and the Samsung Shop App.

The launch follows the pre-order period in Southeast Asia and Oceania, where Samsung said combined pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra rose nearly 60% compared with the Galaxy Z Fold7. The new-size Galaxy Z Fold8 was the most popular model, accounting for approximately six out of every 10 Galaxy Z8 Series pre-orders in the region.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 is designed as a more portable foldable option, featuring a 4:3 main display and weighing 201 grams, which Samsung says makes it the lightest Galaxy Z Fold it has produced. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra features an 8-inch main display with a focus on multitasking and multi-window productivity, while the Galaxy Z Flip8 combines the thinnest design in the Flip family with FlexWindow access to apps, notifications and controls without opening the device.

From August 14 to September 6, 2026, customers trading in an old device for the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra or Galaxy Z Fold8 can receive an additional discount of up to THB7,000 on 1TB models and THB5,000 on 512GB and 256GB models. Galaxy Z Flip8 buyers can receive an additional THB5,000 trade-in discount across all storage variants.

Customers also receive six months of Google AI Pro at no charge, valued at THB4,500, plus discounts of up to 30% on selected Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds products. Purchases made at Samsung Experience Store locations and participating retailers are also eligible for Samsung Finance+, with financing available using a national ID card and down payments starting from THB0.

Additional online-only offers on Samsung.com include a THB1,000 discount for new customers spending at least THB20,000, Samsung Rewards x4 redemptions worth up to THB2,000 for existing customers, exclusive online colors, Samsung Live Shop discounts and a 12-month 0% SPayLater installment offer with an additional discount, subject to conditions.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8 have been available for immediate purchase and pickup since August 14, 2026, with launch promotions running through September 6, 2026, subject to Samsung’s terms and allocation limits.
