Lenovo Expands Qira Across More Than 80 PC Configurations, Connecting Personal AI with Gmail, Slack and Outlook
Lenovo unveiled the latest progress in its Hybrid AI strategy at Lenovo Innovation World 2026 during IFA 2026 in Berlin. The announcements bring its “One Personal AI, Multiple Devices” vision to PCs, smartphones, tablets, wearables and enterprise technology.
Lenovo & Motorola Qira now supports more than 80 eligible commercial and consumer PC configurations, alongside selected Lenovo tablets and Motorola smartphones. Support is also being extended to eligible Lenovo PCs equipped with 16GB of memory, broadening access beyond higher-memory systems. Qira currently supports six languages, with more device families and form factors planned by the end of 2026.
Eligible Motorola edge, signature and razr devices will receive Motorola Qira as part of their Android 17 upgrades. The moto watch ultra will become the first wearable to support the technology, allowing users to raise their wrist or say “Hey Qira” to access information through Qira’s cross-device knowledge.
Through Lenovo’s collaboration with Workato, Qira can connect with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Slack, Outlook Mail and Outlook Calendar. Lenovo is also working with Notion and extending its Perplexity integration to support documents, moodboards and deeper research workflows.
Qira uses a hybrid, local-first architecture that prioritizes on-device processing where supported. Information added to a user’s personal knowledge base is encrypted and stored locally, while cloud requests transmit only the prompt and relevant context required for the requested operation. Cross-device synchronization remains optional and controlled by the user.
Lenovo also introduced the Yoga Pro 9n and Yoga 9n 2-in-1, its first premium Yoga creator laptops powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark. The Yoga portfolio additionally gains two pen-first Android tablets and the Smart Canvas Concept, which explores how ideas can move across compatible devices through pen, voice, camera and touch input.
The broader portfolio includes the colorful IdeaPad Vibe series, IdeaCentre AIO i, new ThinkCentre and ThinkBook systems, ThinkVision displays and ThinkShield security technologies. Lenovo also demonstrated Project AeroBlade, an under-10mm fanless notebook concept weighing less than 830 grams, and Project Swan, a portable computer that expands from a 14-inch notebook into a 17-inch widescreen workspace.
