AIS Receives Three HR Asia 2026 Awards, Highlighting Skills Development and Inclusion for the AI Era

AIS has received three awards at the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia Awards 2026, covering workplace experience, diversity and equity, and people development. The company places an emphasis on building a learning culture to help employees adapt and use AI to enhance their skills at work.

The awards are HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2026, HR Asia Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Awards 2026, and HR Asia People Transformation Awards 2026. AIS says it is the only organisation in Thailand’s telecommunications industry to have received the Best Companies to Work for in Asia award for eight consecutive years.

AIS’s approach to people management covers employees across generations, including health, learning, skills development and career progression. It also uses technology to support work and participation among different employee groups.

On diversity, AIS applies Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, or DEI, principles to promote an open culture that accepts differences and provides equitable opportunities for employees to demonstrate their capabilities and grow. Its people-development approach focuses on continuous learning, particularly technology and digital skills, to support business change.

“Today’s business world is changing very quickly, particularly as AI plays an increasingly important role. We therefore believe people development must progress alongside business development. However good an organisation’s technology may be, if its people are not ready to learn and adapt, we cannot realise that technology’s full potential,” said Dr. ปรง ธาระวานิช, Head of Human Resources at AIS.

He said AIS wants employees across generations to grow in their own ways through a culture and platforms that encourage ideas, experimentation and the use of AI to build on their capabilities. The company will continue promoting learning, equity and workforce readiness for future ways of working.
