OMODA Plans Automated and Remote Parking Features for C5 EV and 4 EV in Thailand

OMODA plans to introduce Automated Parking Assist (APA) and Remote Parking Assist (RPA) in Thailand, with the technologies intended for models including the OMODA C5 EV and OMODA 4 EV, which the company says will launch in the country soon. The systems are being developed and adapted to local consumer requirements, particularly parking in confined spaces and narrow bays.

The plans were outlined alongside technology showcased at the OMODA & JAECOO 2026 International User Summit. APA provides automated parking assistance, while RPA supports remote parking assistance. OMODA aims to use these features to make parking more convenient for drivers in Thailand.

At the summit, OMODA also introduced the OMODA X, which it describes as the world’s first Cross Off-Road Vehicle (COV), and unveiled the OMODA 4, an SUV with a Cyber Mecha design.

The company also presented its Super AI Cockpit, powered by the ByteDance Seed large language model. OMODA says the technology is intended to move beyond conventional command responses towards an intelligent assistant capable of understanding drivers’ needs and behaviour more naturally.

For Thailand, OMODA’s next step is to adapt the parking technologies for local use and introduce them in the planned models.
