True–dtac Offers an Extra THB 500 Off a New Phone With Old-Device Valuations on September 9–17
True–dtac is inviting customers planning a smartphone upgrade to have their old devices valued at its stores from September 9–17, 2026, to receive an additional THB 500 discount when buying a new phone. It also advises iPhone users to check personal data, backups and services linked to their existing devices before selling, trading them in or passing them on.
Preparation should begin with photos, videos, contacts, messages, notes and work files. Users should check that important information has been backed up or synced with iCloud and update to the latest iOS version supported by their device before transferring data to a new phone.
For eligible customers buying a new iPhone without sufficient iCloud storage, Apple provides temporary backup space. Users can start through Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone, then select Get Started under Prepare for New iPhone. They have 21 days to restore the temporary backup to the new device and should complete the restoration before erasing the old one, according to Apple’s temporary iCloud storage guidance.
Customers using eSIM should arrange the transfer of their number before deleting the profile from the old device.
